Koreaboo | 2NE1 mentioned in Vogue Magazine U.S. edition

With their trend-setting and highly experimental styles, helped largely by the influence of their infamous fashionista mentor G-Dragon of Big Bang, 2NE1's fashion pursuits have long been recognized as iconic in the Korean fashion industry. The girls have been featured in a number of high profile magazines, including a pictorial and interview in the August 2010 edition of Vogue Girl Korea. They have also appeared as guests on noteworthy events and shows, such as the Style Icon Awards 2010 and Project Runway Korea, together with American designer Jeremy Scott, whom they share a close relationship with.

Jeremy Scott is an American fashion designer known for his high octane and outrageous designs favoured by pop stars and celebrities. His designs have been worn by celebrities the world over including Madonna, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Kanye West, Beyoncé, Katy Perry, Fergie, Justin Timberlake, Paris Hilton, Christina Aguilera, Kylie Minogue, Big Bang and of course, 2NE1.

Now it seems 2NE1 is slowly edging their way into being recognized in the world of international fashion. The girls were recently mentioned in the March 2011 edition of Vogue USA, one of the foremost fashion magazines in the world, in an article which explored the rock-chic fashion spreading through South Korea.
