With over a million downloads on their recently released mini-album, Big Bang showed their gratefulness for the support given by their local and international fans. All members have expressed their thoughts about “Tonight"'s good results and their winning on music charts recently. Taeyang spoke with laughter, “We are grateful for your support even though we have been away for such a long time. It has been a long time since we got together to promote our new album, so we were worried that we might not be able to generate good response from the fans. However, the level of support that you show for 'Tonight' makes us really grateful.”
G-Dragon stated, "You have been showing support not only for the title song, but for other songs like ‘Café,’ ‘What is Right’ and others as well. It is our greatest motivation to produce more good albums in the future.” He then smiled.
Daesung said, "Since we have not done promotions together for a long time, we have prepared the best for you." Regarding the new album entering Billboard Chart, he expressed his opinion too, "It is not surprising that our album achieved good results domestically, but we have entered the TOP 10 in Billboard Chart without any promotion; we are amazed by that."
The youngest member Seungri said with a smile, "We have been receiving a lot of good news about Big Bang recently. I will always follow my hyungs(older brothers) as role models to work hard."
Big Bang’s 4th mini album has swept the music industry with explosive sales. On March 10th, according to Gaon’s Chart, Big Bang’s hit song “Tonight” has topped topped the charts of Melon, Mnet, Bugs, Dosirak, and Soribada with its total download count of 357,126. ‘Cafe‘ and ‘What Is Right‘ placed second (260,000) and third (247,804) respectively, while ‘Somebody to Love‘ placed 5th, with 209,502 downloads. If you add all the downloads up, it totals more than 1,000,000 downloads.
