Koreaboo | Big Bang to hold "Big Show" + Japan tour 2011

In addition to their annual "Big Show" concert in Korea, boy group Big Bang plans to hold a concert tour in Japan. The CEO of YG Entertainment revealed on the official YG blog site that "Big Show" will be held at the Olympic Park Stadium from February 25 to 27 of 2011.

The anticipation for "BIG SHOW" has grown ever since the 2011 show was postponed. Usually hosted in late January, the group wanted to be able to also perform new songs from the members upcoming albums. This includes G-Dragon and TOP's unit album, as well as Seungri's solo album.

The scheduled release date for Seungri's solo album has been moved to January 13. This later date will not only allow him more room to prepare, but will also give G-Dragon and TOP time to promote more tracks like "Don't Go Home" and "Baby Good Night."

As for the release date of Big Bang's group album, the agency has yet to decide on an exact date. Instead, the members will be focusing on performing Japan. They plan to hold a concert tour in Japan, starting in May and lasting the span of two months. By focusing deeply on their promotional events, the boys can promote "in Korea from March to April, hold their concert and promotional events in Japan from May till June, release a new album in Korea sometime between July till September and then return back to Japan."

Big Bang just recently performed on stage with the rest of the YG artists at the "2010 YG Family Concert." Are you excited to see more Big Bang performances in the future?
