Kpoplive | CNBLUE reveals their future goals
After finishing their Zepp Tour in several Japanese cities, C.N. Blue talks about their personal goals and future plans.
C.N. Blue recently released their third Japanese single, “Re-Maintenance” on January 9th. The tickets for their tour shows in Japan were sold out immediately as soon as they were up for sale. The song, composed by band members Jung Yonghwa and Lee Jonghyun, attained much popularity and was performed along with 24 other songs in their concert.
Since a year after their Korean debut, the band was asked how the members have changed throughout the past year. JongHyun said, “Yonghwa’s great singing and guitar skills lightened up the whole band and the great music he composed also helped us a lot.” To this, Yong Hwa replied, “Having such busy schedule, I think it is great that we can find time to compose our songs and more elements are added.” And addressing to Minhyuk, “Drums possess great power which can be shown on the stage. Minhyuk can now possess the great power of the drums. We are given very glamorous stage now and during performances, we collaborated well with the exact rhythm. I believe his skills will grow even more.” Minhyuk replied, “I am responsible for the rhythm part, but we all have been growing together. We are growing taller too [laughs]. Anyway, I feel that we have been growing together.” The other members agreed that they also feel the same.
When asked about what their personal goals are for this year, Jungshin said he wanted to write more lyrics and music. JongHyun stated that it’s his dream that more people can enjoy their music for a long time. Yonghwa wants to write and compose a lot of new songs and also have other members participate in making the album. He also hoped that they can bring their fans a lot of fun. Last but not least, Minhyuk said that he wanted to try writing lyrics, take part in making the album, and improve on his drum skills as well.
