Kpoplive | Big Bang's T.O.P gets nominated Best Newcomer at the 5th Asian Film Awards

Big Bang‘s rapper T.O.P shows his acting prowess once again with another Best Newcomer nomination for the film, 71: Into the Fire at the 5th Asian Film Awards.

Moreover, T.O.P’s film 71: Into the Fire is nominated for Best Visual Effects. Top Korean actors, directors, and such are also nominated in other categories. For full list of nominees, please refer to this site.

The 5th Asian Film Awards is presented by the Hong Kong International Film Festival Society. It aims to “acknowledge the finest of Asian Cinema and bestow honour in various major categories to filmmakers and artists from across Asia.” It will be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibit Centre on March 21, 2011.
