Super Junior celebrates 5th year anniversary

Super Junior will be celebrating their 5 year anniversary since debut. The group debuted on November 6, 2005 on SBS Inkigayo. They will be holding the 5 year anniversary party at Korea College, Seoul on November 6th.

Let's recap what they have done in the last 5 years!

Separately and Together Strategy
The members with various talents worked in multiple areas besides just as singers. These included MCs, DJs, gagmans, composers and models. Their catchphrase since debut has been "separately and together". Although people were skeptical of this strategy, time has proven that it has been successful.

Currently, Siwon, Heechul, Kibum and Donghae are working as actors, while Eeteuk, Shindong and Eunhyuk are working as radio DJs with appearances on variety shows. In addition, Kyuhyun, Yesung, Ryeowook and Sungmin are doing musicals and OSTs.

Unit System
Super Junior was the first Korean idol group to introduce the idea of a unit system.

Super Junior K.R.Y. - Ballads
Super Junior T - Trot
Super Junior M - Chinese / China
Super Junior Happy - Bright and fun music

Breaking Records in Asia
The 4th album Bonamana which was released this year is expected to garner their highest CD sales yet. It has been ranked #1 for 22 weeks on KKBOX.

Super Show 2, which spanned 9 cities in Asia for 15 shows attracted a cumulative audience of 2,000,000. Super Show 3 will be held in 13 cities in Asia with 16 shows.
