SHINee’s 2nd album Lucifer has sold over 100,000 albums 17 days after its release.
SHINee’s 2nd album, which was released on July 19th, sold 28,135 copies online and 80,131 album offline, resulting in a total of 108,266 albums (recorded on the 4th). Many were able to realize just how popular the group was with their successful album sales, just 17 days since its release.
This is the third album sales record of 2010 since Super Junior’s 4th album BONAMANA and SNSD’s 2nd album Oh!. SHINee’s exceptional singing and stage manner had fans complimenting them left and right, which seems to have lead to such successful sales.
Not only that, but their songs have been ranked on various music charts, again, confirming their popularity. Many are predicting that this album will surpass their first full-length album, release in August of 2008, which sold 113,690 copies.
SHINee will be taking the stage with their title single Lucifer this weekend on KBS 2TV Music Bank, MBC Music Core, and SBS Inkigayo.
