Europe are one of the biggest hard rock bands ever coming out of the eighties, definitely the biggest coming out of Sweden. They sold more than 12 million albums worldwide with two Top 20 albums “The Final Countdown” (1986) and “Out of This World” (1988) and two Top 10 singles (“The Final Countdown“ and “Carrie“) on the U.S. Billboard Charts.
Formed in 1979, Europe decided to take a break at the end of the 1992 tour and announced the band had split but reunited in 2003 with the original guitarist John Norum. Since then the band has performed sold out gigs all over the world, gaining the respect of hard rock purists and metal fans thanks to impeccable performances.
For 2009, they released their 8th studio album "Last Look At Eden". It's a monumental album based on heavy guitar, great keyboard parts in the '70s hard rock tradition and the vocals of Joey Tempest further confirms his talent as one of the most gifted voices in rock today. Includes "Last Look At Eden", "New Love In Town" and more.
