SHINee’s leader Onew and rapper Minho were interviewed for a behind-the-scenes video of a photoshoot. The two December birthday boys participated in W magazine’s January 2011 issue. Entitled “Double Doors”, the shoot featured them in a more serious and darker shoot with a monochromatic theme.

In the interview, the two members of SHINee discuss memorable album jacket shootings, as well as what it means to be “a true man.”

Minho: It’s good to have a photoshoot in a long time. I enjoy photo shooting because I can try new things, make new challenges, and experience many things.
Onew: In our Lucifer album jacket shooting, matrix technique was used. Cameras flashed all around me. It is still vivid in my memory.
Minho: In our first album jacket shooting, when I didn’t know anything, it was most unforgettable that I felt awkward. I think a true man doesn’t give up to the end. A true man is born to strive to achieve his goal until death.
Onew: Isn’t a man who doesn’t lie a true man? I think that is most wonderful. We’ll show you cool looks soon, so look forward to it.
Minho: I was glad to have this photoshoot for W. We have a concert on Jan. 1-2. Look forward to it and love SHINee. Thank you.

SHINee will be holding their first official concert in Korea at the Seoul Olympic Stadium on January 1st and 2nd. They will be also be holding their first overseas solo concert on December 26th in Japan, which will take place at Tokyo’s Yoyogi National Stadium.
