One Way member Chance revealed on his Twitter the tracklist for the group's first full-length album, "Rainy Days". He also announced that they are holding a special event on Yesasia. You can purchase an autographed bundle of their mini-album "One Way Street" and album "Rainy Days". In addition, Chance tweeted that their album will be available for international fans on iTunes in January.
The tracklist is listed below along with a short description of the songs. Their title song, Rainy Days, will feature Junsu of 2PM and will also have an English version. The English version will have a different feel than the original with a slower rhythm and more emotions. The song Can't Stop will be One Way's maknae, Young Sky, rapping debut. As One, One Sound Choir, and J.ae will also be featured in the album. Will you be purchasing this album?
01. The Forecast (feat. One Sound Choir)
The song has been written by Japan's songwriter Ichiro and begins with a short intro featuring traditional instruments until the rapper comes in, with the chorus and melody following. The orchestra and the chorus makes a classical sound and is mixed eerily with the hip hop. This is a type of song that has yet to be created in mainstream media. The dreamy English lyrics (there are only two lines of Korean sung) shows endless challenge and an optimistic message about not giving up, even after falling down.
02. Rainy Days (feat. 준수 of 2PM)
The title song "Rainy Days" has thunder and rain as the background music and sings of reminiscence and love. It is of the R&B hip hop genre, but the mood itself makes it safe to call the song a ballad. The way the sadness melts in as music is their best quality and weapon. However, after the song is over, sadness just seems to have passed by and the long 4:20 length seems too short. 2PM's Junsu's vocals have made the song fuller and gives it more quality.
03. New drag
The song starts with the lyrics, "If you want to be a singer in Korea, you have to be good looking, be able to dance well, and sing really well." The song moves up to a freestyle and the genre is called Neo Soul. The song is a continuation of U-Drag, the opening song from the last mini album and is an impressive song that shows One Way's musical style.
04. 빠져 (Falling)
This is an R&B song that expresses longing for a girl they cannot forget. The word "Falling" is repeated almost 30 times in the song, and anyone who listens to this will fall for the song. Traditional lyrics and electronics fuse for a new generation song. The blues guitar ending is by Chance's Berkely alma mater, the skilled guitarist Charm.
This song has already been released as a digital single. The acoustics guitar and drums make a simple and clean instrumental, and Chance's soft voice merges nicely with the song to make a clear, bright song. The song expresses love in a beautiful way. Buzz's Son Sunghee was featured in the music video and made it a big hit, and it will be included in this album.
06. Flight 101 (feat. As One)
This song is a fast house beat and sings about the happiness of love. The group As One is featured in the song, making the song brighter and more exciting, even giving the feeling of flying through the sky. As One's soft and bright vocals and One Way's fresh rapping merge well to give a easy song that's good for mainstream music.
07. Can't stop
It is a unique hip hop song that has a swing beat, and addicting chorus with a springy piano melody. It sings about obsession of an old lover that left him for another man. It is the debut rap song of the team's maknae Young Sky, who has been hanging on rap making forever. It is enough to show his possible growth.
08. Coffee (feat. J.ae)
It is an alternative R&B genre song. It's about not being able to forget an old lover and going to the cafe to order bitter coffee to wait for a girl who would never come. The song sings of the pain of separation. The song looks back on memories in the coffee cup, but the memories must be good memories. All electronic instruments have been thrown away and only real instruments are used. J.ae's voice makes the song even more addicting.
09. Rainy Days (Unplugged English Version)
This is an English version of "Rainy Days" for the international fans. However, it is not just English lyrics because the melody has changed in parts and the instrumental break has been simplified to a guitar solo. The song's mood is completely different from the original song. The rhythm feel has lowered and the vocal has gotten more desperate, and the rap has gotten as soft as a conversation.
10. A Thousand Words
It is leader Chance's solo song that is made of merely piano and vocal. It is a song that tries to say countless excuses and longing in an attempt to restart love. The ballad pop expresses longing after separation, and you can feel the charm of his deep and desperate voice.
11. Coffee (Trumpet version) - Bonus Track
12. Forever (Harmonica version) - Bonus Track
13. A thousand words (Harmonica version) - Bonus Track
14. Rainy Days (Radio Edited Version) - Bonus Track
