Catch the iconic OPM pop band Neocolours reunite on MYX Live this Wednesday (September 29), 10PM as they perform their greatest hits like "Tuloy Pa Rin", "Maybe", "Hold On", "Say You'll Never Go" and more!

Neocolours was formed 1988 in Manila, Philippines. Founding members were Ito Rapadas (vocalist), Jimmy Antiporda (keyboards), Marvin Querido (2nd keyboards), Josel Jimenez (guitar), Paku Herrera (bass) and Nino Regalado (drums). In 1991, Jack Rufo (guitar) joined the band. Neocolours filled in the pop music void with the release of their first album, "Making It" in 1989. The said album reached platinum sales, generated a buzz in the industry and helped usher in a new era in the Philippine recording industry that is now known as the early 90's band explosion. The second album "Tuloy Pa Rin" came out in 1990 and created more hit singles for the band. It similarly reached platinum status and cemented several tracks as classic "OPM" songs to this day.The band agreed to retire in 1994. Encouraged by the continuing interest of its fans, the band decided to do a "re-recording" of the old hits of the past albums and compile the latter in a greatest hits edition in 1999. Released by Universal Records, the album entitled "Emerge: The Best of Neocolours" as of this time has reached double platinum sales. Neocolours songs have been repeatedly covered by various artists through the years which undoubtedly contributed to the band's status as a relevant '80s pop act. Their songs were used in various commercials, movie and television show themes.
