PEP.ph | Christian Bautista says moving to Universal Records is a "step of faith"

The Way You Look At Me" as its carrier single.

Ito nga ang Christian Bautista, Romance Revisited: The Love Songs of Jose Mari Chan.

One of the main reasons talaga, na it's a project that no one should refuse," sabi ni Christian nang makausap siya ng PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal).

How does it feel na, this time, iba naman ang recording company niya?

"Noong una, kinakabahan kami. It's always a risk, e. It's always a risk to get out of your comfort zone. Pero it was a step of faith that we have to do and it was rewarded by this album," saad ng singer.

"Siguro. Kasi, sa bahay namin, meron kaming tape ng Constant Change at saka Christmas in Our Hearts. So, dati ko pa siyang naririnig every Christmas or every time my parents will play. So, I'm just very honored na ngayon, ako naman ang pinakanta niya."

Madalas daw silang magka-text at tawagan ni Jose Mari and talk about the album.

Sabi namin, 'Sir, I hope you'll like it, medyo kinakabahan ako. But I really hope you'll appreciate.' Tapos, tinext niya 'ko. Sinabi niya that, 'You sang it very well, you voice is very soothing. So, congratulations.' Nagustuhan niyang talaga," kuwento ni Christian.

With all the songs in his latest album, ano yung masasabi niyang nakaka-relate siya?

"'Beautiful Girl,'" mabilis niyang sagot. "Kasi kung titingnan n'yo ang lyrics, beautiful girl, wherever you are... I know when I saw you...

SINGLE & AVAILABLE. Open naman si Christian sa pagsasabing he's still single. After his relationship with Rachelle Ann Go, wala pa rin siyang nagiging seryosong relasyon since then; unlike Rachelle na may bago nang boyfriend, si Gab Valenciano.

"Na serious? Wala pa... wala pa," sambit ni Christian.

So, may mga not-so-serious naman pala?

"Yung mga ano lang... mga dating lang. Getting-to-know, pero hindi umabot sa relationship."
