PEP.ph | Christian Bautista excited for Romance Revisited: The Love Songs of Jose Mari Chan

First week of August nang formal na i-announce ng Universal Records na isa na sa pinakabagong contract artist nila si Christian Bautista. At ngayong mid-September, posible nang mapakinggan ang kauna-unahang album ni Christian under Universal at ito ay ang revival ng halos lahat ng mga hit songs ni Jose Mari Chan.

The title of the album is Romance Revisited: The Love Songs of Jose Mari Chan.

Ang first single ni Christian ay ang "Tell Me Your Name" at kunsaan, nai-tape na rin nila ang music video ng kanta with Paula Taylor as his leading lady.

The idea of Christian reviving the well-loved musics of Jose Mari came up when they learned about the Asian Pop Idol's portfolio or achievements as one of the well-loved singer rin, especially in other Asian countries like Indonesia.

Para raw silang nag-flashback, with Christian being the Pop Idol and also popular in Indonesia, samantalang nung late '80s naman, ang album ni Jose Mari ang isa rin sa pinakamabentang album noon sa naturang bansa.

In fact, Jose Mari is one of the very few Filipinos who have reached the double diamond award na katumbas nito ay 20x platinum...
