SNSD’s popularity not only in Korea but also all over the world is increasing! The girls have recently found success in other countries, and that is shown through their rankings on overseas charts! Let’s check out some of them below.
Ever since its release two months ago, SNSD’s Oh! climbed the overseas charts in Thailand, Taiwan, the Philippines, and other Asian countries.
In the beginning of March, SNSD released their album in Thailand. The album reached the B2S TOP20, GRAM ASIAN POP TOP10 album sales charts, the Thailand International chart, and the MTV Channel [V] Countdown chart for three weeks in a row! This can already prove to you the hot popularity of SNSD.
Also released in Taiwan at the start of march, the girls’ album dominated charts like G-MUSIC, FIVE MUSIC, and Kwangnan album sales charts. The growing popularity of Oh! also reached radio stations like KISS radio, as well as topping the charts of a few other radio stations. SNSD was able to sweep the charts even in a country that they weren’t from.
With the release of Oh! in the Philippines in mid-March, SNSD was easily able to climb to the top as soon as it was released. They also made the country’s record sales on the weekly chart for the Odyssey and Music One.
Right now, SNSD is busy promoting Run Devil Run, contrasting their cute image with a bad girl one.
