This is their eighth record already, believe it.
Though there's obviously a bit of humor in that snippet, we can't help but feel he's saying the absolute truth.
The immensely popular outfit who brought us "Buloy," "Picha-pie," "Mister Suwabe," amongst a ton of hits has been at it since 1993.
While many of their contemporaries have broken up, these guys remain strong, owing it to talent, yes, and to humor, but mostly, to a strong friendship forged in childhood.
We're all the better for it because few bands today can brighten up our mood like the clever lyrics in a Parokya song.
And with the band's promise of a "return to basics" and songs containing "kuwentong barkada, kuwentong inuman, kuwentong pag-ibig" in Pop Rockers, it sounds like we're in for a jolly, fun time again.
