As we come up to the end of June, it was time for KBS to roll out their mid-year special on June 25th and crown their ultimate K-Chart winner for the first half of 2010.
And after a tabulation of scores, it was down to 2AM’s Won’t Let You Go Even If I Die taking on SNSD’s Oh! as they both racked up the highest scores in the first half of 2010. But there can only be one winner and it was SNSD whose five K-Chart wins and 8,796 points were enough against 5,394 for 2AM.
Congratulations to the girls! There was a slight discontent at the end though when Taeyeon said, “…I hope Music Bank can provide a good environment for artists…”
This stemmed from an earlier incident in the day while pre-recording the Music Bank special stage. Her ear piece did not work properly then and the PDs refused to let her re-do the stage, causing her to be unhappy during the Oh! performance.
Many thanks to Wahwah for the last bit.
