JAY R'S "SOUL IN LOVE" ALBUM TURNS PLATINUM

Jay R's bestselling CD "Soul In Love" has been certified platinum. The Prince of Soul received his platinum record last Sunday (May 17th) from Universal Records' General Manager Kathleen Dy Go on SOP. "Soul In Love" was certified the #! album of 2008 by Music One record chain, outselling international titles like Mamma Mia and Twilight soundtrack albums. The concept album features Jay R's soulful renditions of songs by James Ingram, Smokey Robinson, Earth, Wind & Fire, Marvin Gaye, Michael Jackson, Anita Baker, The Stylistics, El Debarge and more.
