Preview of 3D SM Town Music Videos & SM Town Live


A preview of SM Town Live and various SM Town music videos in 3D, has surfaced out of nowhere. but technically, it was shown at the KES 2010 (Korean Electronics Show). With so much talk about SME Collaborating with James Cameron, the director of the 3D movie, “Avatar”, on various Samsung 3D projects for quite some time now. It seems like some of these projects are those seen in the preview and the SM Town 2010 Live Concert in LA.

Super Junior Chinese fans' 700m banner gift to Super Junior

The wall of the Shanghai Concert Venue for SM Town Live has gained the attention of many people.

In order to give Super Junior a warm welcome, there was a 700 metre super long banner hung at the concert venue in Shanghai, China that caught the attention of many tourists. ‘SMTown Live in Shanghai’, which was a concert where all artists under SM Entertainment performed at. The China fans made a sapphire blue banner and hung it on the outer wall. Drawn on the banner were hearts and the words ‘Believe, Go Through Everything Together, Don’t Leave, Don’t Give up’ written in Chinese.

Fans of Super Junior say that when they heard the news that SMTown Live coming to Shanghai, they wanted to prepare a special gift, so they made such a long banner. They made use of their love for Super Junior and made ten 70metre long banners before joining them together to form a 700metre long banner. Through the web, Korean idols who have seen this sigh(in envy), “Of course, this is how far the Chinese fans would go.”

Super Junior’s company SM Entertainment representative says that, “(We will) see the 700metre long banner when we reach there.” (He) Also said, “Super Junior is also shocked that the Chinese fans were willing to go so far.”

SM artists attract 15,000 fans to LA concert

The artists of SM Entertainment made their second stop of their "SMTOWN LIVE '10 WORLD TOUR" in the United States over the weekend, drawing some 15,000 fans to the Staples Center in Los Angles.

A total of 44 singers and actors including some of K-pop's biggest names such as Super Junior, SHINee, and Girl's Generation, performed at the famed venue on Saturday.

The concert started off with The Grace's member J-min's rendition of song "Shine," followed by other solo and group performances by Kangta, BoA, U-know Yunho, Super Junior, Girls' Generation, SHINee, f(x) TRAX, Kim Jong-min and Lee Yeon-hee.

Sisters Jessica of Girls' Generation and Krystal of f(x) sang U.S. artist Ke$ha's hit pop song "Tik Tok" while Kangta and actress Ara also gave a musical duet performance.

"I am extremely grateful that so many people have come to fill this arena. Fans should be prepared to anticipate more than what they have been expecting to see," singer Kangta said.

Meanwhile, rock duo TRAX sang "Let You Go" and "Oh! My Goddess," nine-member girl group Girls' Generation took the stage for their performances of "Kissing You" and "Gee," followed by songstress BoA, who sang her hit song "My Name."

The highlight of the show was the performance by idols U-Know Yunho and Max Changmin, who arrived on stage on wires. The concert also featured dance performances by Super Junior members Eunhyuk, Donghae, Shindong, SHINee members Minho, Taemin, Girls' Generations' Hyoyeon, Yoona, Yuri, Sooyoung and f(x) members Victoria and Luna.

The four hour-long concert ended with a joint performance of all the artists singing and dancing to H.O.T's hit song "Hope."

SM's world tour will continue on into Shanghai on September 11 at the Hongkou Football Stadium and next January in Tokyo.

SM Entertainment, one of the most influential entertainment houses in the country alongside YG and JYP, was founded by former singer Lee Soo-man in 1995.

SM Entertainment artists departing for Los Angeles official photos released

Yesterday, press photos of SM Entertainment artists were released as they boarded the plane for Los Angeles, in preparation for the upcoming SMTOWN Live ‘10 World Tour on September 4th.

To get fans even more hyped up and possibly give some fanservice, SM Entertainment has kindly revealed their own candid/professional photos of their artists while boarding the plane and on the plane itself, and some of them will be ideal for those who are into fanfics.

SM Entertainment artists depart for Los Angeles

We are just two days away from SMTOWN Live ‘10 World Tour in Los Angeles on September 4th, and the involved SM Entertainment artists have already boarded the plane this afternoon in preparation for the concert extravaganza this Saturday, seeking to give fans a wonderful time!

Those who were spotted on the first wave to depart for Los Angeles, on a special charter flight, included BoA, Yunho, Changmin, Super Junior, SNSD, SHINee, f(x), Lee Yeon Hee and Go Ara, with most of them spotting sunglasses in preparation for the long flight ahead.

Those not seen here will depart at a later date due to other schedules.
