SPONGE COLA UNLEASHES REPACK EDITION OF THEIR BESTSELLING 3RD ALBUM!

One of the country's hottest bands Sponge Cola unleashes the Repack Edition of their bestselling eponymous third album. The Repack Edition includes the original album featuring the hits "Puso" (Official theme of the 71st season of the UAAP) and "Di Na Mababawi" plus a Bonus CD containing 4 new tracks -- the massive current single "Ayt!", a collaboration with Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano, "Closer You And I", their rendition of the classic Close Up toothpaste jingle originally sung by Gino Padilla, "Puso" (Bonfire Version) and "Di Na Mababawi (Band Version)".

Sponge Cola became the first local band to release its new album in music player form. All songs, including those in the past albums are included in the music players which come in both MP3 and MP4 format.

The band made up of Yael Yuzon (vocals-guitar), Gosh Dilay (bass), Erwin Armovit (lead guitar) and Chris Cantada (drums) released their debut album "Palabas" in 2004 , spawning radio hits like "KLSP," "Gemini," and "Jeepney." Their acoustic live cover of the Madonna classic "Crazy For You" gained popularity among fans and casual listeners after it became an Internet download favorite. Their Platinum-certified second CD "Transit", produced smash singles like the anthemic "Bitiw," "Tuliro," "Movie" and "Pasubali." Sponge Cola were also part of the most successful tribute records to come out recently: The Eraserheads' "Ultraelectromagneticjam" and the Apo Hiking Society's "Kami nAPO Muna" and "Kami nAPO Muna Ulit".
