"You Cross My Path" is the 10th album by the Brit indie legends The Charlatans fronted by Tim Burgess and has been hailed in some quarters as their best album since 1999's "Us And Us Only". Their new album was produced by the band along with longtime collaborator James Spencer (New Order, Johnny Marr, Primal Scream) and mixed by Alan Moulder (Depeche Mode, Arctic Monkeys, Nine Inch Nails, The Killers, Ride, My Bloody Valentine, Smashing Pumpkins, Blonde Redhead). As usual with the Charlatans, their inspiration is taken from a motley mix of sources and the listener is taken down a path past organ-heavy New Order-esque refrains to deep guitar laments, via potential festival anthems. Includes the singles "Oh Vanity" and "You Cross My Path", “The Misbegotten" and “Mis-takes”.
