Named after a New Order's 1984 song, Paris-based, Swedish-American trio Thieves Like Us release their first album called "Play Music". Their sound is heavily influenced by new wave, synth-pop, post-punk and seminal electronic artists. The album’s eleven songs are characterized by repetitive programmed hooks and minimal arrangements that are more atmospheric than dance-inducing, which ultimately make for one cool record.
