"Varshons" is the 9th studio album from American indie rock legends The Lemonheads. Produced by The Butthole Surfers frontman Gibby Haynes and mixed by ex-Cornershop guru Anthony Saffrey, the album sees The Lemonheads tackling an odd array of covers from a wide range of artists - punk performance artist G.G. Allin, country mainstay Townes Van Zandt, British post-punks Wire, obscure psychedelicists Sam Gopal, Texan punks Fuckemos, Dutch electronica duo Arling & Cameron, Ex-Byrd and Flying Burrito founder Gram Parsons, influential singer/songwriter Leonard Cohen, garage rockers The Green Fuz, British psychedelic act July, pop superstar Christina Aguilera etc. Dando gives each song a new lease of life in his own unique indie-pop style. Guest vocals come from the likes of Liv Tyler and Kate Moss.
