OGIE ALCASID'S "THE GREAT FILIPINO SONGBOOK" IS NOW CERTIFIED PLATINUM!
The multi-awarded singer/ songwriter/ actor/ producer Ogie Alcasid's album from Universal Records "The Great Filipino Songbook" has been certified PLATINUM. Ogie received his Platinum record last Sunday (April 26th) from Universal Records' General Manager Kathleen Dy Go on SOP during the launch of his current single "Kahit Na". The music video of the said single starred him and superstar Judy Ann Santos. In the album "The Great Filipino Songbook" (produced by Platinum producer Ito Rapadas), Ogie Alcasid pays tribute to the biggest OPM composers and singer with songs like "Kung Sakali", "Ikaw Lang Ang Mamahalin", "Kahit Na", "Ngayon", "Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo", "May Minamahal", "Bawa't Sandali", "Doon Lang", "Nais Ko", "Bato Sa Buhangin", "Handog", "Kailangan Kita", "Sana'y Ikaw Na Nga", "Yakapin Mo Ako", "Malayo Pa Ang Umaga" and "May Bukas Pa". Ogie can be seen in highly-rated shows like "Hole In The Wall" and "SOP" and is currently shooting the movie "Oh My Girl" with Judy Ann Santos.
